Please complete this application form if you are interested in becoming a Pantry Four Paws Volunteer. Once you have filled out the form and agreed to the Terms and Conditions below, submit the form. Please note all fields must be completed.


We need your help with kitty care in our new PetSmart Store located at 120 Portia Drive, Unit 7, Ancaster Ontario. Cats and kittens will reside there waiting to be adopted into their forever homes. Volunteers are needed to provide quality socializing time and much needed love, care and some “break time” from their cages. Volunteers will be responsible to help clean cages, supervising meet and greets with prospective adopters.


Always ensuring kittens and cats are handled with care and for only short periods of time.



Only to be completed by an individual over 18 years of age. This can be completed by a parent that will have their child with them. 


Once approved as a volunteer additional PetSmart training will need to be completed.

Terms & Conditions


During my volunteering with Pantry Four Paws cat rescue, I may have access to confidential, proprietary, and/or trade secret information belonging to the rescue, including but not limited to name, address, financial information, donors, fellow volunteers, and foster and adoptive families. I agree to keep all of this information strictly confidential and refrain from using it for my own purposes or from disclosing it to anyone. I agree that, upon conclusion of my volunteering period, I will immediately return to Pantry all of its property, equipment, and documents, including electronically stored information. I understand unauthorized disclosure of confidential or privileged information is a serious violation of this policy and I will be subject to appropriate discipline, including removal/dismissal. By signing below, I express my understanding and intent to comply with this disclaimer, willingly and voluntarily. 


Although every attempt will be made to ensure your safety, animals are by their nature, unpredictable in behaviour. Accordingly, as a volunteer, you agree to the following conditions:


▪    I hereby agree to not hold Pantry Four Paws,PetSmart, PetSmart Charities and PetSmart Charities of Canada its Directors, and Volunteers for any damage to personal property or any injury whatsoever that I may suffer as a result of my volunteer activities with Pantry Four Paws. This includes, but is not limited to, bites, scratches, and communicable illnesses or pests contracted.

▪    Pantry Four Paws recommends that all volunteers have up to date vaccinations. I am aware that as a P4P volunteer, I am acting as a representative of the organization and agree to act responsibly at all times by maintaining a professional demeanor and protecting the rescued animals from any harm while they are in my possession or care.

▪    You must be 18 years or older to volunteer with the cats (some exceptions can be made depending on the situation/volunteer opportunity). Volunteers under 18 years of age require a parental or legal guardian to be in attendance and the guardian must also fill out a volunteer waiver. This waiver applies to any and all events and volunteer opportunities that I attend as a P4P volunteer.
